Today I will show you a gallery of nice photos (all taken by me) from Azerbaijan. You`ll see some iconic and recognized worldwide buildings and views, but also I`ve decided to put some unknown to wider public. All the photos are described - where it has been shot and what does it present. Enjoy!
Baku - the city of wind
I`m starting my gallery from the capital city. You can notice the contrast between old and new, but also the harmony of styles.

Heydar Aliyev center

Panorama of Baku from the Highland Park

One of the Flame Towers from the Old Town perspective

This building has been designed by the Polish architect - Józef Płoszko

Old town - Maiden Tower
Sumgait
Located about 30 km from Baku, Sumgait is the second largest city by population in the whole Azerbaijan. Because it is a young city, you won`t find any old buildings in there, but the modern ones are also stunning, just like the boulevard.

Or the way in Corat

Sunset and a little bit of the city

One more photo of the Caspian Sea

Heydar Aliyev Park
Lerik & Lankaran regions
Regions known for Talysh population living there has a lot of breathtaking views to offer. The main attraction is the Khanbulan lake.

Lerik region

Ismayilli region + Lahic
This place has been visited by me for the first time in 2019. I remember the lack of asphalt compensated by spectacular views. The second part has left, but finally the road leading to old Tat village known for spices and old houses is normal.

Climbing up the village is worth any effort

Magnificent Caucasus

River about 10 km from Lahic

The same river a few kilometers further

And Lahic itself
Bonus: photos from the plane
I`d like to end with a few photos taken during the flights Tbilisi-Baku and back. I had no idea that this views could be such nice, so I nearly sticked to the window in order to leave myself a souvenir of the beauty of the sky and landscapes.
